BIO AND INTRODUCTION
I am a 26 year old game developer, primarily an all-round environment and level artist/designer, and tutor.
I specialize in the Unreal engine. I have been working with the engine since 1999 and I have vast knowledge of it. I have worked extensively with all three generations and I have performed work on five commercial Unreal Engine titles.
I have over seven years of professional experience and ten if you also count my time spent in the Unreal mod community. I worked for various companies, both on-site and off-site and on various genres, themes and styles. In total, I helped out on seven game titles (Unreal Tournament 2004, Killzone, Shellshock nam 67, The Chronicles of Spellborn, Huxley, WarPath, and a yet unannounced EA game), five very large non profit projects, and I built over 30 stand-alone Unreal community levels.
I won a dozen prizes in the world's biggest game creation contest, the Make Something Unreal contest (UT2004/UT3 editions), including six first places. My personal project The Ball also secured Best Singleplay of 2008 in the ModDB MOTY awards.
In addition, I am also the author of the books "The Hows and Whys of Level Design" and "The Hows and Whys of the Games Industry", I run one of the largest Unreal Engine 3 tutorials website, and I give lectures and workshops to schools and companies.
